Julian Gommlich

My name is Julian Gommlich. I work as a Software Engineer, IT Consultant, and Trainer for ITech Progress GmbH and live in Nuremberg, Germany. I see myself as a hands-on problem solver with a holistic perspective on software development – I don’t limit myself to any one specific role.
My greatest passion lies in sustainability in IT – a fascinating field of research and a genuine challenge for everyone involved in software creation. I strive to find ways to reduce the resource consumption of web applications and, in doing so, contribute my part to saving the world.
As a Green Software Champion of the Green Software Foundation, I advocate for this very topic and bring together people who share a passion for sustainability.
